C’est un véritable stratagème qu’a monté Samuel Eto’o pour encaisser la quote-part de la Fécafoot pour le match Russie – Cameroun. Le contrat entre les deux fédérations nationales a été signé par les Secrétaires Généraux respectifs, comme c’est souvent le cas. Blaise Djounang, côté Fécafoot, avait déjà mis en place les prémisses du détournement. Le point 5 du document énumère les détails financiers et tous les aspects pris en charge par chacune des deux parties.
Il y est indiqué, très clairement, les coordonnées bancaires personnels de Samuel Eto’o:

Clause 5.1.1. above, and paid by the RFU directly to the relevant state tax authority, which equals to 113 514 (one hundred thirteen thousand five hundred fourteen 00/100) Euro.
Total amount payable by the RFU under Clause 5.1.1 and 5.1.2. of the Agreement is 681 084 (six hundred eighty-one thousand eighty- four 00/100) euro.
The abovementioned Match fee constitutes the single full and direct payment due to the CFF in connection with the Agreement and participation | of the « A » National Team of Cameroon in the Match. Herewith the Parties specifically agree | that the CFF shall not claim the RFU for any additional fees for the participation of its National football Team in the Match, except for | the amount due to the CFF under the Agreement.5.2. The FUR shall bear all the costs related to the Match organisation and staging, except for those set out in Clause 5.3. of this Agreement.
5.3. Therefore, the CFF shall be fully and solely (financially and in other aspects) responsible for all of the delegation of the National Team of Cameroon (including players, staff and officials) expenditures or costs in connection to the Match over and above those provided for in Clause 4.1, Clause 6, Clause 7.1, Clauses 8 and 9 of the Agreement.
5.4. The abovementioned Match fee set out in Clause 5.1.1. of the Agreement will be paid by the RFU to the CFF in the following parts within the following timeframes:
5.4.1. advance payment in the amount of 80% (eighty) percent of the amount set out in Par.5.1.1. of the Agreement paid within 4 (four) working days from the day next to the day of entry into force of the Agreement as per Par.15.1 of the Agreement, provided that all of the following documents are received by the RFU from the CFF within 24 (twenty-four) hours from the day of entry into force of the Agreement subject to clause 2 of Par.5.4. of the Agreement:
a) relevant invoice from the CFF;
b) documents stipulated in Par.5.10. of the Agreement;5.4.2. final payment paid no later than 4 (four) working days from the day following the Match day, provided that all of the following documents are received by the RFU from the CFF within 24 (twenty-four) hours after the Match day subject to clause 2 of Par.5.4. of the Agreement:
a) relevant invoice from the CFF;
b) act, as set out in Par.5.8. of the Agreement, КФФ; signed by the CFF.
Herewith the Parties specifically agree that in the event that the documents required by the RFU for the purpose of effecting the payments under the Agreement are not received by the RFU from the CFF within the terms set out in Раг.5.4.1., 5.4.2. of part 1 of Par.5.4. of the Agreement, terms of payments shall be automatically prolongated symmetrically to the delay in provision of the documents by the CFF. In this case:a) terms for the relevant payments are calculated from the day following the day the RFU receives the documents necessary for the relevant payment procedures from the CFF;
b) The RFU shall not be liable for any delays in the relevant payments specified in clauses 5.4.1., 5.4.2. of this Agreement, therefore no sanctions related to this can be applied to the RFU.The payment detailed above will be made by bank transfer to the following bank account the CFF which will be also indicated in the relevant invoice issued by the CFF:

5.5. All payments under the Agreement will be made in euro.
5.6. For the purpose of this Agreement the RFU payment obligations under the Agreement shall be fulfilled on the date of the relevant amount debit from the RFU bank account.
Il y a donc mélange de genre, que des frais de match soient versés directement dans le compte personnel du Président d’une Fédération. En plus, le compte est logé dans un pays quelconque qui ne réponds généralement à aucun critère de vérification.
Toute justification de l’utilisation du compte personnel de Samuel Eto’o est d’ores et déjà vainc puisque les montants de ce match n’ont jamais été dévoilés. Mis à part donc le cercle très restreint du Président de la fédé, personne n’était au courant du montant du contrat qui liait les deux structures. Parallèlement à ce versement, Samuel Eto’o avait réclamé de l’État Camerounais la prise en charge complète de cette expédition en terre Russe, Et le Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement avait donné quitus. Puis, les fonds de l’État furent versés dans le compte de la Fédération.
