Cochran did not play a racist card. He did not need to because the evidence spoke for itself. It is clear OJ Simpson was being set up by the police because he was a star and he was the ex husband of Nicole Simpson. The evidence clearly showed he did not kill her and did not need to. They had been divorced for three years and had been living separate lives. Nicole Simpson had been dating other people after their divorce and I actually think Cochran did a poor job as an attorney in that case because public opinion still holds that OJ killed Nicole when in fact he did not.
The pair of Socks on the floor with Nicole's blood on it clearly showed that the detectives poured the blood on OJ's socks because if he wore the socks when he killed her the blood would not have penetrated through the socks to the other side. Secondly, the gloves did not fit OJ who had way bigger hands. Thirdly, the only evidence they had against OJ was the fact that they found his hair follicles in a blanket in Nicole's house. Why would you not find his hair in the house when he comes there all the time to visit his children. The would on his had was also used as evidence against him when in fact the would could have come from anywhere. It was a set up to bring another black man down and it worked.
