Paul Thomas Pondi (10 February 1928– 31 August 2013). born in Ngog Bassong, a commune within Ngog-Mapubi. Deputy Director-General of National Security from January 1960 to 1962, Director-General of National Security in 1962.In 1969, he was appointed as Delegate-General for National Security, working under President Ahmadou Ahidjo's direct authority.
