When i say sponsor the league i was not referring to him using his personal income and I have personally informed Eto through a third party since i have never met the guy to stop spending his children's money on Cameroon football. Of course Embiid should use his money as he wants or desires. He is the first African to gross the kind of money he is making. However, he should stay strong and talk about Africa and Cameroon day in day out and stop shying away from his origins. He should be proud of being a Cameroonian. Those leading fecabasket are not as knowledgeable in the game as himself. He should help develop the game in Cameroon by using his foundation to set up summer camps build basketball courts in major cities.

You know Hakeem played for the US Olympic team but it was very inconsequential because he was just another player in the team. I understand what you are trying to say but we have to stop thinking that when someone has some success he hast to invest his money in order to make charity when in front of us people a wasting the resource which are allocated to create this environment for the young generations. It is upon to Biid to feel the necessity to invest his money like he want, we just have to put some pressure to our FECABASKET in order to make sure that they can create a good environment for Siakam and Biid to perform in higher level for Cameroon. We do not have to make the same errors as with SEF who paid some bills for the federation and after that they could not control him anymore. Yes is a shame if he opted to play for the France team but for the rest it is not his job, we have people who are paid to do that. Look at our football clubs, they receive money but they do not pay or want to pay their players and they want results in Africans competition. If Biid feels, the necessity to invest his money in our Basketball infrastructures or something else it will be ok but if he does not want we do not have to criticise him for that.

As far as playing for France, it is a disservice to Embiid and he should tell France he cannot play for them for several reasons:
The game will grow more in Africa with Embiid playing for Cameroon than playing for France and NBA wants the game to grow for clear financial reasons.
Sportingly, Embiid, Siakam and the other Cameroons playing in the G-league and in colleges can create a solid Cameroonian team that can maybe even beat France and other major European players and even the US.
Ipersonally, i have never understood why a Cameroonian who lives in the US will want to play for France because to us France is worse than a third world country. Their scheming policies of piracy is too evident to Africans living in the US. For a person like Embiid who seemingly has the world at his feet, he should on the contrary be pro-Africa and for Cameroon.
