Barca brawlers! So, why are Pique and Song FIGHTING in front of supporters on the Spanish champions' open-top bus parade?
•
•
•Barcelona stars Gerard Pique and Alex Song appear to have been scrapping while on top of the team's double-decker bus to celebrate their La Liga triumph.
In these astonishing pictures, former Arsenal midfielder Song and Pique seem to be fighting while the bus makes its way around the Catalan city.
Club captain Carles Puyol and goalkeeper Victor Valdes look to be playing peacemakers in the end, but appear to be having a heated discussion of their own in the background as their team-mates grapple in front of celebrating supporters.

Astonishing: Gerard Pique (right) and Alex Song seem to be fighting on top of the Barcelona bus
Shocked: Victor Valdes (left) and Alexis Sanchez (far left) watch as the pair grapple
Larking about? Song grabs Pique's arm and seems to be cocking his fist ready to throw a punch
Defence: Pique appears to hold his hands up to stop Song as the bus made its way round the city
At one point, Song is seen grabbing Pique's arm and clenching his fist as if readying himself to throw a punch at the Spain defender.
The former Manchester United centre half winces while holding his arms up in defence.
In another shot, Song is captured landing an open-handed slap on his team-mate as Puyol and Valdes watch.
The bus tour was a raucous affair with video footage emerging of the players drinking and partying as the bus travels around the city and police picking up empty bottles from the streets.
Happy? Other Barcelona stars turn to watch as Song and Pique continue to tussle
Caught flush: Song seems to land a slap on Pique's cheek during the scuffle
There is a possibility that the superstars are simply larking about as footage shows how the bus parade turned into a party with plenty of beer-drinking on show from the Spanish champions.
But based on these images, the pair look to be seriously quarrelling atop the coach. Although the scuffle went unnoticed on Monday afternoon, politicians in Catalonia have complained that drinking on the bus was setting a bad example to young fans who watched their title-winners parade the trophy.
The parade was to honour Barca reclaiming their La Liga crown from Real Madrid, after mounting a 10-point lead with three games to play.
Barcelona held their end-of-season awards dinner last night, and Song, who left Arsenal for Spain last summer did

Fail! Alex Song makes Barcelona trophy presentation gaffe

Watch Alex Song make an embarrassing fail at Barcelona’s La Liga trophy presentation fail
Evidence that Alex Song’s move to Barcelona has paid off was supplied on Sunday night, as the team were presented with the Primera Division trophy at Camp Nou.
However, the former Arsenal man was forced to endure a moment of such toe-curling embarrassment that he could be excused for not enjoying the resulting celebrations.
Song was voted as the worst La Liga signing of the season earlier this year with Luka Modric and while the former Spurs man has improved vastly, it is safe to say that the Cameroon international’s contribution has been minimal.
So it is a wonder why he thought Carles Puyol was heading for him after being presented the trophy and looking to lift it with another teammate.
Song was standing next to defender Eric Abidal, who had returned this season after recovering from a liver transplant made necessary after suffering from a tumour.
Abidal is expected to leave Barcelona this summer, in a playing capacity at least, and so Puyol was obviously trying to share a special moment with the former France international.
Song did not realise this and thought the Camp Nou captain was heading for him; the embarrassing episode was made complete when Puyol bypassed Song to take Abidal’s arm and the 25-year-old patted the defender on the back in a late attempt to style out the cringe-worthy moment.
Despite his efforts to cover it up, it was plainly obvious that Song had got a bit carried away with the celebrations and maybe misjudged the importance with which he is held in the Barcelona squad – some of his teammates can definitely be seen sniggering.

Former Arsenal midfielder thought he had been chosen to lift the La Liga trophy... little did he know
Former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song suffered a cringe worthy moment of embarrassment during Barcelona's title celebrations last night.
The Catalan club were awarded the La Liga crown following a 2-1 win over Valladolid. Club captain Carles Puyol collected the silverware from the podium before returning to his teammates to allow a special pair to lift the trophy.
However, Song mistakenly thought the Barcelona captain had chosen him to loft the trophy beside him and is seen practically rubbing his hands with glee as he steps forward... before realising Puyol had actually selected Eric Abidal - who has returned to the first team from a liver transplant - and Tito Vilanova - who has battled against cancer this season - to share the lifting duties.
(VIDEO)
Oh very dear!
This was Song's second celebratory faux pas after being pictured on the open bus parade apparently fighting with Gerard Pique.
