OJ demons resurface to haunt African Americans! How Zimmerman got away is just too surreal to associate to anything but an OJ-payback!

@ Bronkos
That's what you wrote "Dont also forget that TAS was created by FIFA to abitrate mostly cases concerning players, teams and intra sporting problems..."
I hope not Iya or Hayatou sent you to scare us, because TAS is not Tribunal Arbitral du Soccer...but concerning all sports including petanke, kickboxing,canoe,snowboard,etc....
so your informant or information was wrong the presidency did nothing...what you said.

TAS= Tribunal Arbitral du Sport
S=Sport not Soccer

@ John Barrick

@ Men Nde
Bro we all have the same goal to improve on the organisation of Cameroon football.... but dont be naive to digest some of these farce. Just like the United nations has its court the ICJ so does FIFA has its own court CAS, to have and maintain control over its members and handle cases the way they are dictated to them..... thats the reality. My fear is that you have so much trust in this TAS

''Nonsense !!! CAS is a true court of arbitration.''

Just like the International court of justice in the Hague is an independent true court for war crimes ......
Just like the supreme court in Cameroon is an independent true court to abitrate on electoral irregularities..... isnt it?

The problem with most of you is that you see things the way others want you to see them. I do make research and analyse things.. thats the difference.You ve just gone to google and picked an old story to support what you as well copied.
I see your example was a case of dispute between two federations concerning players. if you go to my post again you will see i mentioned CAS was created to handle such issues. I would have loved to see an example where CAS asked FIFA to reverse a suspension sentence on a member country and that was done. I still reiterate my point CAS is a branch and part of Fifa directly or indirectly.

The government had same thoughts as you but I can reassure you steps are being taken to succumb to Fifas demands and you will see that sooner or later.

@Euhum & Brokos:

I suppose I should have been proactive and done my own research b4 validating Brokos.
Brokos, turns out you are wrong in just about everything you posted below. I just spent some time trying to figure out who CAS is and what their jurisdiction is... They in no shape or form "answer to FIFA" as you suggested. They are "federated" by the IOC and can only be "over turned" by appeal to the Swiss Federal Tribunal.
2ndly turns out FECAFOOT was actually ahead of us all in this one then. CAS statutes state you can only file a complain after arbitration.
3rdly, that FIFA article 69 is in reference to FIFA's financial cycle! Nothing to do with suspensions. Articles 14 & 15 on the other hand do deal with suspensions/expulsions and in no way state what you claim. As a matter of fact, Article 60 clearly recognizes CAS authority over FIFA by stating that is the ONLY organ that can over turn a FIFA Appeal committee's decision.

You might want to direct us to where you got your details from Brokos.
