Dundee United have handed a trial to Cameroon striker Patrick Suffo.
The 29-year-old is available after completing a two-year stint with Israeli side Maccabi Petah Tikva.
Tannadice boss Craig Levein said: "I know Patrick from when he was at Coventry and I was with Leicester. We've got him in for a few days to have a look."
Suffo, who played at the 2002 World Cup, has had spells in Spain, France, Norway, Dubai and England, where he played with Sheffield United and Coventry.
His Sheffield United career ended in controversy after he head-butted former Dundee United skipper Derek McInnes during the so-called 'Battle of Bramall Lane'.
Blades boss Neil Warnock offloaded Suffo to Spanish side Numancia immediately after his sending-off in the infamous clash with West Brom in March 2002.
