Chelsea's Drogba denies Eto'o taunts

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has denied taunting Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o after collecting this year's African Player of the Year award.
Drogba was claimed to have declared himself a better player than the Cameroon ace, but he insisted this week: "It is a terrible lie. Those who know me know perfectly that it would be impossible for me to say such a thing.
"I consider myself a humble player and it is not my style to say that I am better than anybody else."
The Ivory Coast star also told Supersport: "Those that have given credit to this lie clearly do not know me. I never, never, would say something like this. First because it is not true that I am better than Eto'o and second because I am a humble person.
"What I am not going to deny is that it was something very important to be crowned as the best player of Africa and even more so seeing that my rivals were in the class of Eto'o and Michael Essien."
