Charlton have loaned Alexandre Song from Arsenal until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old Cameroonian, who has played in six matches for the Gunners this season, will gain valuable experience at The Valley in the Addicks' fight against relegation.
Arsenal signed Song on a four-year deal for around one million pounds from Ligue 2 outfit Bastia last summer after impressing in a trial at The Emirates.
Song operates in the middle of midfield, generally in a defensive role. He was signed as a potential replacement for Patrick Vieira.
He is the nephew of former Cameroon star Rigobert Song.
Charlton are 19th in the Premiership table, three points from safety.
