The Dutchman has recently left his post at Iranian side Persepolis FC but could be set for a speedy return to football management.
Haan is meeting with officials from Cameroon's Football Association this week in Paris to discuss the possibility of succeeding Artur Jorge.
"I will fly to Paris for a meeting with a delegation of the association," he told Dutch television.
Cameroon have been without a coach since Jorge resigned in February.
