6) Barca had 71 - yes 71 PER CENT ball possesion in that game. Henry is a human being, he is not Superman. He is not a one man machine. Henry was playing for an inferior team to Ronaldinho and didn't have a lesser impact. I've heard people say Ronaldinho was marked closely. Henry was taking on an entire backline by himself after Pires was withdrawn, Some people really beginning to get on my breasticles.
7) It was still an entertaining game. Barcelona looked like they could score every time they got forward, but Arsenal still looked dangerous on the counter-attack. I begrudgingly admit that the boss is not a genius with his subs, and should have had Walcott on the bench to use as at least an another outlet when we were under pressure. He is the fastest player I've ever seen, and can actually control the ball and finish - with all that open space, he could have helped us relieve some pressure off Titi's shoulders. RvP also was an option with his threat on the break. Although hindsight is a wonderful thing, Reyes didn't come on until the 84th minute. Our players were clearly very tired. Rijkaard however IS a genius with his subs and you have to admit that - he has more quality, but he knows how to use them. Fair play to him.
8) David Pleat IS a massive juanker. He gave us the kiss of death; Pleat - "Arsenal looking good here, the end is in sight...." Tildsley - "Larsson, Eto'oooooooooooo 1-1!".
9) Barcelona are rightfully Champions of Europe. They are the best team in Europe by a distance, and got through the last 2 rounds of the biggest club competition in the world without two first team players - Messi and Xavi. They are better than Los Galacticos of 4 seasons ago because they are also stronger physically and mentally. There is pace throughout the team. The are also fitter and flair players like Deco are also hard grafters.
10) Arsenal will be back next year, with or without Henry. I personally don't see where Barcelona will accomodate him - he won't go there to see out his career as a super-sub like Larsson. But Barcelona can dominate Europe for years to come if they really want. None of their best players have even reached their peak yet which is simply frightening. It doesn't matter who Chelsea buy - Barcelona are like well oiled machine, they have passing patterns in their heads 2 or 3 passes before the opposition knows. They pull people out of positions like porn movie directors. They caress the ball like you would sumptuous
