This game (against Liverpool), if it stands for anything, shows us and Arsène Wenger that a direct approach can be worth it during some games when he has a player like Adebayor. Such a player however, needs someone who is willing to run for the knock downs. Henry is not willing to do anything. This game also showed Wenger which players he must concentrate on keeping and which ones he should not. Wenger and Arsenal are spending time thinking about Henry's contract. They need to spend that time making sure that Lehmann stays, that Lauren stays, that all the young players who have been carrying the older players for months know that they have a winning future at Arsenal whether they are in the Champions League next year or not.
