Two Men Killed in Collision on Bridge
Two drivers were killed in a crash on the Roosevelt Memorial Bridge early yesterday, after one of them wound up heading west in the eastbound lanes. Bernard Njovens, 41, of Fairfax County, was driving in the wrong direction in a 2000 Jaguar when he hit a Honda driven by a 22-year-old District man.
Both men were alone in their cars, and both died at the scene after the 1 a.m. accident. Authorities did not release the name of the victim from the District because his family had not been notified.
