Fighting has erupted at a hotel in Washington DC, capital of the United States during a May 20 gala organised by the Cameroon Embassy in the US, sources have told National Telegraph.

Embassy officials were holding an evening celebration of the 2019 Cameroon National Day when a group of activists who identified themselves as members of Brigade Anti-Sardinards – BAS, a Pro-Kamto group stormed the venue and disrupted the celebrations, causing a fight.
Every May 20, Cameroon celebrates its National Day also known as the Unity Day but the BAS like many other Cameroonians called for a boycott of the event. The group later moved to the Thurgood Marshall Hall of the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel at 2660 Woodley Rd, NW Washington DC and disrupted the party organised by the Ambassy...
