Barca striker Eto'o given all clear to face Mallorca
MADRID, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o was given the all clear to leave hospital on Saturday in time to face Real Mallorca this weekend, sports daily Marca said.
Eto'o was taken to hospital on Friday after clashing heads with team mate Damia Abella in training ahead of Sunday's Primera Liga match at the Nou Camp.
The Cameroon forward was treated for a cut to the head and spent the night in hospital under observation before being released following further tests.
But while Eto'o is in Barca's squad their Argentine forward Lionel Messi will miss a second league game due to continuing confusion over the 18-year-old's nationality status in Spain.
Brazilian midfielder Thiago Motta and versatile midfielder Gabri are also sidelined through injury.
