It is mostly the common man, those who are investing to make money from CAN not members of the government or Biya and any Cameroonian who is happy lacks patriotism and looks at life from a tribalistic angle. Yes it will be prestigious if Cameroon were to organize a successful nation's cup but that is it. The business people will suffer the most and Africans need to start looking at life from a commercial perspective rather than from an emotional end. Cameroon is doing CAF a favor to host the Nations cup not the other way round. Somewhere, some how people think the government will cease to exist if Cameroon does not host AFCON. It will continue to exist and nothing will change. Even the roads that would have been developed because of the AFCON are at a risk to be abandoned which will mostly affect the common man. How can any Cameroonian be happy that AFCON from withdrawn from us. I am angry because as a Cameroonian I feel disrespected that a fool like Ahmad from a poverty stricken Madagascar which is arguably not part of African will do this to Cameroon. Madagascar is not even in African how can he head CAF. Why is he given that much respect and who the hell is he? He is a retard because he has caused the country of Cameroon enormous loss business wise. I am mad.
