She can take sides but has to verify any and all information she gets from her sources. She failed to do that and has to be punished for that. It is a pity that in Cameroon they do not have a board of journalism to sanction her for her unprofessional conduct and ethical violation instead of being prosecuted for her violation.
She cannot report that the soldiers killed the US missionary when in fact it is not true. It is irresponsible and if she violated any laws by her action she needs to be prosecuted.
I don't know why the military tribunal has jurisdiction in her case but she needs to go before a magistrate and plead her case.
