Maurice Kamto has promised to repatriate the remains of Cameroon’s first Head of state from Dakar, Senegal for a state burial in Cameroon.
He made the state during his campaign rally at the Federal Junction at the Yellowa neighbourhood in Garoua in the North region.
The candidate of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement party for the 7th October election of the President of Republic told his supporters that the time for charge is now.
He said the change will be brought through peaceful means from the ballot box.
He urged his supporters to vote the red ballot that will bring Maurice Kamto to power.
He said it is time for the incumbent to hand over the helm of state.
He however insisted as was the case in all his previous rallies that if he is elected, the incumbent and his family will be protected.
The MRC candidate told his supporters that he will also be on the side of the population adding that he is the most qualified candidate to become the third President of Cameroon.
The presidential hopeful indicated that he had served the government as Minister Delegate and as Dean in the university, at each post the interest of the Cameroonian population was his priority.
The Garoua meeting was spiced by musical interludes.
