@Anglophone issue:
I thought being a dictator is what is in fashion. Russia has a dictator, North Korea has a dictator, China has a dictator, The US seems to be looking for one in Trump and we are here complaining about Biya. The difference with these dictators and Biya is that they are strong and Biya is weak maybe cos of age nevertheless he remains a dictator. Even Rwanda that the whole world is raving about has a dictator in kagame. The point I am making is that being a dictator might not be that bad but it is the will the develop ones country that makes the difference.
The anglophone crises can be dealt with head on by Biya. He can simply include in the ballot various options regarding the form of the state during the forth coming election. Include the option of: federation and its various options viz: two states federation, 10 states federation, decentralization and separation by any region and including West Cameroon.
Security wise, he can create a state of emergency in the NW anand SW regions and arrest anybody carrying a gun without authorzation and walking out after a certain period with a gun, bring them before a criminal court and they be tried by a competent court of law because Cameroon has to be a state of laws and laws have to be respected.
WHat will happen in Cameroon after this crises is over with any Tom, Dick and Harry in possession of a weapon. These weapons will get into the hands of criminals and crime will be the order of the day. The Europeans who makes these guns know what they are doing. I dont want to say they have created an artificial crises for us to kill ourselves while they are quietly exploiting our minerals somewhere but i remain suspicious of them. They brough aids, we resisted, they brough Ebola we still resisted and they have reverted to their usual thing of killings because of difference in language, tongues et al. I am against the Biya regime in every form and being an anglophone i witnessed the marginalization first hand in Cameroon but why kill one another, or does it take an amount of education to realize this nonsense and Biya is stupid enough to call his people together so we cal all resolve this crises and move on to build a beautiful country where each and every Caemroonian can realize their ful
