We had the chance to be one of the best teams in the entire tournament if we had a coach who was interested in the ILS instead about his ego. The Belgian was a fool and allowed a bad team like Nigeria to humiliate us.
We have lots of players he could call to the team who would have made a difference technically and tactically in that team. Young fresh players like Eboa Eboa, Lea Siliki, Bong, Matip, Bassogog, Amadou, Ntep, the names go on and on.
With the plethora of quality players in the prime of their careers we could have made a running at the WC in Russia. It is a pity why Fecafoot did not make qualifying for the WC a priority and attach Economics into it.
When I look at the WC I see money, that will flow into the Cameroonian economy and nothing else and the country has to make it a priority.
When I am elected President of Fecafoot, we are never going to have a foreign coach. Our coaches will be Cameroonian who have the interest of Cameroon at heart, not these useless European coaches who come to steal from us.
Going to the WC will be my number one priority and the coach has to select the best Cameroonian players at the time and has to explain the non selection of deserving players to my satisfaction.
All junior leagues in Cameroon will be reactivated at all age. levels.
Fecafoot must have its own TV chanel to broadcast its matches and other old matches of both the league and the ILS.
The league must have TV money like European teams do.
