I don't care what anybody says the best player of the ILS was Bassogog hands down. Anguissa and Ondoa might have been recognized in the first team of the confederation cup but clearly the standout player for this tournament was Bassogog.
He is the only player who played with confidence and without fear from the start of the tournament and the single player who brought danger to the opposing camp. If Abou could convert all the chances he created we would have made it out of the group stage and he would still have been the best player of the tournament. It was clearly a missed opportunity for him to play in a major team in Europe with his speed close to that of Carl Lewis. He is an exiting player to watch and what I don't understand is why he does not play on the left side of the field where he can use his left foot. He needs to learn how to finish in front of goal that is why big players do. Nobody remembers all the work you do if you cannot finish.
Anguissa was scared in the first half of the first game. Djoum did nothing throughout the tournament and was non existent and Abou was clearly not in form. He failed to press the opposing defenders and could not start our defense from the attack line as Tambe does. He is too lazy if you ask me. He needs to go and watch the tapes of Harry Kane and observe how an attacker pressures a defense and how an attacker can maximize his opportunities. He is definitely more skilled than Kane and has moe power but as a forward he must have the will to progress.

What we need is a Cameroonian Coach and I think Song and Mboma can do a good job as coach.

I will bring back Song Alex, Choupo Moting, Nkoulou and Mbia to that team. With these veterans with technical players like Boumal, Njie and Bassogog we can are going to win a ticket for Russian and win the CAN in Cameroon.
Merci de patienter...
