Cameroon striker set for Accies

Ndiefi is trying to resurrect his career
Cameroon striker Pius Ndiefi has agreed terms to join Hamilton Academical.
The 30-year-old, who is currently in Paris on a training camp with Cameroon, will join the Division One club either until January or the end of the season.

Manager Billy Reid hopes to include him in the travelling squad for the match against Ross County on Saturday.

Ndiefi, who partners Samuel Eto'o for his country, impressed on trial at New Douglas Park after leaving Qatar club Al Ittihad.

Accies boss Billy Reid told the Daily Record: "Pius has an impressive pedigree and, from what we have seen, he looks like a very good player.

"When he gets back from France, we are hoping to get him signed up."

Reid has been given a healthy budget compared to many First Division clubs and has already brought in a number of players during his first summer in charge at New Douglas Park.

He says Ndiefi is attracted by the opportunity to put himself in the shop window for other clubs in Britain.

"It could be a very exciting deal for us, especially as we are so short on strikers that we had to us two 17-year-olds at the weekend," Reid added.
Merci de patienter...
