My condolence goes to all the affected families because this incident would and could have been avoided. The government should investigate this issue to make sure that it does not happen again. The affected families should lawyer up and make sure they receive all the compensation they can have for their loved ones.
It is a sad period for Cameroon not because of the old man who has abandoned Cameroon but the attitude of the country. Why would the country not be able to airlift injured people so that they can be treated and will allow them to die from these injuries. Why not airlift Medical Doctors from all parts of Cameroon to treat these people in place to make sure all the deaths that could be avoided be so avoided. They would have saved some lives at the very least. The minister can fly in an helicopter to view the scene of the accident but kids are being killed by the profit making a French profit making Bollore company because they are simple poor citizens. The government does not place any value on the lives of its citizens. It gives one a sick feeling. How come there is no effort to save lives in that country and death is acceptable as an outcome. We should be able to fight through life and not give up. When I saw the photographs of these people who were killed in Eseka I feel like the government is missing the point about a country and having a government. It is to make sure each and every citizen is guaranteed life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The government has failed us and it should resign. I know this is not normal in Africa but it shows failure at every level.
Why would a president be living in a hotel in Europe. If you think Europe is better than your country make your country like Europe or better than Europe, that should be your challenge.
Why would Biya be living in Switzerland? What is there that makes him really happy to be living in a little apartment in another persons country. I know his kids go to school there which is his choice but let them come on vacation in Cameroon.
Why not build roads in Cameroon. What is so difficult I building roads. Please Biya build roads in Cameroon. It is not a difficult thing to do. If we have better roads in Cameroon which will secure the safety of Cameroonians this massacre would not have been averted. It is unnecessary and could be avoided and Biya needs to be ashamed of himself.
