Let me comment about the lady who passed. It is very pitiful that we have fallen to such a standard, that the hospital will send away a sick person, let alone a lady who is dying, pregnant with twin children and let her die outside of the hospital. I am not going to comment on the surgery done by the sister because it is above and beyond anything I have ever imagined but it tells you the mindset of the people in Cameroon today and how practical they have become.

I said this earlier, we live in a country where there are very wealthy people and very poor people. The wealthy people live in large air conditioned houses and ride in nice air conditioned cars, send their kids to the best schools in Europe and the America's and go to hospital in Europe and the US and the poor people are left to toil and suffer in Cameroon, without good schools, good hospitals, poor roads that we are forced to share with Bensikineurs and the list goes on and on.

The problem here is that most of the rich folks gain their wealth from the government, meaning it is tax payers moneys that is not being shared evenly and the system is set up in a way that recycles money only to the wealthy. It is a system that needs to be shaken up. Just imagine that this lady was a ministers sister what would have happened at that hospital.
The worst part of the problem is that those who can change this system are not aware of the situation in these hospitals because they don't visit the hospitals to know how they operate and so cannot change this modus operandi.

Paul Biya send his children to schools in the US.
Gives birth to his children in Europe.
Appoints only people who have studied abroad who are those who can study abroad. Only those with the means to do it. Only the wealthy people's kids, so it is a cycle.

Biya ad his ministers do not know what operates in these hospitals. They don't know that the Doctors charge for everything they do besides their salaries. The hospitals are lacking in medical facilities and experts and the President and his ministers don't care to improve on the health care system. If you are sick in Cameroon of the smallest of disease you might die because of lack of care and the Doctors don't care. It is just another death and they are used to it. Nobody cares to save any lives and we have become very accepting of the status quo.
It is a pity. Luckily for Biya I am not interested in politics and want to run for Fecafoot president to give these
Merci de patienter...
