Yes, Blatter is being accused of corruption and we have heard that over the media in the US but what we have not heard is the real facts about his corrupt practices. Somebody saying that they gave Blatter money for a country to organize the world cup or that Blatter gave money to people to vote for him to remain president of FIFA. Those indicted excluded Blatter and are all from the Americas or South America. It is not a coincidence, it is because the FBI does not have facts to go to the prosecutor to indict him. Nobody has said anything for three years or given any facts regarding Blatter's corrupt practices. There might be a culture of corruption brought into FIFA from the regional federations it does not make Blatter corrupt. FIFA is a loose organization consisting of regional federations who vote as members of FIFA to organize the WC. How can Blatter control those people if they are corrupt.
The US is complaining that FIFA gives the same amount of money to small countries that they give to the US. It is the law in the books of FIFA and the last time I check the US is a country of laws. Those laws have to be respected. If the US wants FIFA to be like the UN were countries are more equal than others then they should move for a change in FIFA laws.
Please somebody should state just one instance where Blatter has taken a bribe from an individual for any reason or a qui pro quo situation. I mean Just one and until then all the noise about Blatter being corrupt is nonsense. Until it can be supported by real hard evidence it is all smear tactics to smear the image of Blatter and the game of soccer that Americans don't care about.
If anybody is found guilty of bribery they should be arrested and prosecuted but if you don't have the facts to support your allegations it remains speculation and that only and it has no place here.
