Samuel Eto’o, of Chelsea, Barcelona and Everton fame, Samodoria, has purchased an Italian villa believed to be haunted by the curse of Tutankhamun. Sort of like it says in the title you just read.
The property was previously the summer home of Lord Carnarvon, who was the financial backer of Howard Carter – the man who discovered the Pharoah’s tomb in 1923. Shortly after… Lord Carnarvon died from a mosquito bite. THE CURSE OF TUTANKHAMUN.
So anyway, due to this ancient curse, Eto’o’s new £18.5million luxury home is laced with danger. Locals claim they have warned him about the perils of buying a house haunted by an Egyptian child but he just doesn’t care. Those damn millionaires. When will they learn!?
