LONDON (ARSENAL-MANIA) - Arsenal defender Lauren has informed Arsenal that he will not be returning to international duty with Cameroon anytime soon.
The 28-year-old right back retired from international duty after the World Cup in 2002 after winning 22 caps. During his career he had won the Olympics and the African Nations Cup twice.
He denied that he would be returning to the national team to help them in their World Cup qualifying bid: "This news came out a few weeks ago and it is not true. I am not going to come back now. Maybe it could happen in the future but not at the moment.
"It has been a long season and I am not ready to go to the national team yet. I want to wait a little bit more. I am still young so I have time but in the future definitely."
