That third Goal caused by chedjou killed the game. Goals like that just breaks the spirit of the whole team. Conceding a goal under normal play is different from these type of goals. Its very difficult for a team to come back after such. Everything just falls apart after. I expected it to and it happened. They felt apart.
Remember R Song's pass at the final against Egypt in 2004? remember Geremi pass at the semi against Egypt in 2006?. Especially for Cameroon. The fighting spirit is lacking a great deal. One of them should have raised their voice after that goal and shout "Lets keep fighting boys. We can do this, lets get back into formation". The fighting spirit is missing.
Once Cameroon plays well, they are confident and excel but once they concede they are at their weakest and most fragile state. We need a captain with fighting spirit, somebody to realize circumstance like this and raise his voice to get the moral of the troops back up.
Am disappointed for tonight. But I would rather see any player make a mistake like that in a friendly than making it when it matter most. We at least had a chance for a draw. I will remember the first half.
Keep fighting boys. Lets encourage them!!
