Cameroon - Football: Samuel Eto’o Is Back on Chelsea Squad After Injury
Indomitable Lions Captain and Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o is back on his feet after he suffered an injury two weeks ago.
Eto’o is now available for the Chelsea versus Stoke City English Premiere League game scheduled for Saturday December 7 after missing two games with a groin problem.
On the day of the injury, Eto’o appeared to pull a muscle as he chased the ball and immediately signalled for treatment. He was replaced by Fernando Torres.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has said a knee injury rules out centre-back David Luiz for Saturday’s game while forward Oscar has recovered from an ankle knock but may not figure.
Provisional squad for Saturday’s game:
Cech, Schwarzer, Ivanonvic, Cole, Azpilicueta, Bertrand, Cahill, Terry, Mikel, Essien, Ramires, Lampard, Mata, Schurrle, De Brunye, Hazard, Willian, Torres, Eto'o, Ba.
