Cameroon have now qualified for 7 times in the World Cup and are one of the only three teams to reach the quarters. This team is the KING OF AFRICAN FOOTBALL when it comes to qualifying. They are the regions top class team. African cups are not as important. Cameroon historically are the number one team in Africa. I mean "Historically" not current form by the way. Cameroon might have struggled, but when it comes to CAF qualifications, they take it serious and get the job done (even if it may not be pretty).

Cameroon deserves thief place on the plane to Brazil based on today's showing. But the hard work begins now. The modest target must be to get out of the group stage, surely! Alex (Cameroonian living in Brasil)

Congratulations to the Indomitable Lions !!! The better team won and deserving the ticket to represent African in Brazil. Preparation needs to begin immediately for a good showing at the Mundial. African teams getting knocked out at the early stages does not represent the abundance of talent in the continent. The stiffest opposition will come from the South America teams who are playing good football right now. Hint, play more international friendly games against them. Brazil is already on a world tour.
