@Brokos, Galoise
Nonsense !!! CAS is a true court of arbitration.
In 2010 the Irish Football Association took its "player eligibility dispute" case to CAS after FIFA failed to prevent the Football Association of Ireland from selecting Northern-Irish-born players who had no blood link to the Republic.
The Northern Ireland governing body was hopeful that the issue could be resolved at a Fifa meeting in December 2007 but that international gathering failed to clarify the issue.
At that time, Fifa spokesman Andreas Herren told BBC Sport:"If there is a real dispute...they will have to submit it to the Court of Arbitration."
The CAS ruled in favour of the FAI.
If there is clear evidence that Fifa acted in bad faith, CAS will likely rule in favor of FECAFOOD. Which ever case, we all know that a committee (regardless of its naming) needs to be formed to review the current texts of the FECAFOOD.
