Italian club Juventus are planning an £8 million summer bid for Tottenham left-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto, according to Talksport.
The Serie A club have identified the Cameroon international as a target following a number of positive reviews from club scouts.
Assou-Ekotto, who infamously once admitted he played football for money, may be open to a move but the North London club are unlikely to want to sell the player who has made 32 appearances this season, as their defensive woes continue to grow.
Juve, however, believe a bid of £8m may be enough to persuade Spurs to part with the 26-year-old.
