Nigerians living in Ivory Coast feel threatened by Jonathan's intervention
Abuja (WorldStage Newsonline)-- Nigerians living in Ivory Coast are feeling threatened by what they described as unnecessary interference in the political affairs of the country by Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan.
The Nigerians have therefore enjoined the President not to endanger their lives and businesses.
The group, lamented that President Goodluck interference was influenced by 'a parochial perspective' as his action was not a reflection of what really transpired.
In a press statement released in Abuja, the spokesperson and legal adviser, of the group, Emeka Uchegbulam, said the way the Federal Government was interfering in the internal affairs of Ivory Coast was not proper as “it negates the principles of sovereignty of nations and the none interference in other nations’ internal affairs, rule of law, fair play and democracy even after a constitutional court of law, the only legitimate institution that adjudicates on any election petition issues in Ivory Coast, sat and determined the winner of the outcome of the general elections held in that country.â€
