The Cameroon international could be on his way to the Spanish capital.
According to a report in Diario de Sevilla, Europa League holders Atletico de Madrid are closely monitoring the situation of Cameroon international Achille Emana, currently under contract with Real Betis.

The Rojiblancos are keen to add some more creativity to their squad in the summer transfer window and head coach Quique Sanchez Flores supposedly sees the 28-year-old Emana as the perfect signing.

Emana joined Real Betis from Toulouse and has since developed into an important first team player at the Verdiblancos. However, the winger is eager to move to a bigger club after Betis' failure to gain promotion to the Primera Division last term.

The attacker was previously linked with a move to Valencia, but Atletico are now believed to be sitting in pole position in the race for Emana's services. However, Turkish sides Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are also interested in signing the winger.

Betis have reportedly set a €7 million asking price for their star player.
