Yes i believe the bible. It warns that the sins of the father will be attended unto the third and fourth generations. Except that Jesus came out of Nazareth, i would have quoted Philip in asking "what good can come out of Nazareth(Cameroon).
You can not expect the Indomitable lions, the perfect reflection and offspring of a society governed by perverts, a society governed by a willing capitalist maggots,a society ruled by conceited, selfish and egoistic administrators, to produce a team that will be fulfilling in itself and successful by the standards fair play and merits. Two very unknown qualities in Cameroon.
If you doubt me how then would you explain and by what standard, the fact that a coach was given an extended or renewed contract two weeks before a major competition like the 2004 African Nations cup. Such a contract should have been determined by the events or successes of the nations cup.Only Bidoung can explain that.
Some one may be trying to refute my premise that nothing good comes out of the evil of a system. Normally they will cite the fact that it was with the same system and people that Cameroon took the 2002 Nations Cup and made a brilliant appearance at the confederation cup. To this i will say simply that " those the Gods want to punish, they first of all raise them high, then drive them mad so that they fall with a 'thud'that is so loud, hard and painful.
Because of our previous successes we thought we were high up there but not realising it was only a process through which we can better see the depth to which we are or have fallen. A fall starts from the highest to lowest point not vice-versa, else it will be a rise.
I will also say that the last successes especially under Schaeffer were just a case of Pierre Lechantre ebbing away slowly but surely and unabatedly.
If this is not strong enough reason, then note that this time around nature and God has refused to give the Biya regime the often laughable and trivial itinerary in their vain attempts at justifying successes in their wasted 22 years in power.
Why did Lechantre who created the efficient3:5:2 formation leave, why did Etame, Mboma and Kalla resign, what were the crisis of the 2002 world cup all about, why is our domestic league almost non existent, why, rather than have football competitions we always have a swimming competition in our national stadia in the raining season and horse racing during the dry season, why does fifa always have to come in to keep order in our national football association, why do we always produce new working documents for fecafoot. Why, like the country we have never had a smooth and clear election in Fecafoot. How and why did Akono returned from Tchad to be head coach of the Olympic team and why did they not qualify as defending champions. This is a course.
If you can answer these questions honestly and many others that you may add to this list, then you will agree that nothing good can comes out now in Cameroon. You will also agree that the worse is yet to come and that worse is, if i may predict, non qualification for 2006 world cup. If You will further accept that when a wrong person is chosen to a position,he becomes an instrument of punishment for the people, then you equally see that the Biya regime is a punishment to the people; Schaefer is an ill luck, Bidoung Mbatt was a bad omen, our pitches are a confirmation of the devil among us, Puma and our football kits are a reflection of our pervasiveness, unconformity, recklessness and oddities. Finally and most sorrowfully our present crop of players shall become a "wasted Breed". So sayeth the lord and it shall come to pass.
Our National team players are confused and can not really explain what the problem is that it took the grace of God for them to beat Benin and even to have have a draw with Libya. The answer is just that they can not understand. It is a complex web of generational and political punishment. The only praise i have for Schaefer and the team now is that they are doing a good Job in their assigned "Holy Mission". It has been "appointed unto them to be bearers of the complete grief and frustration to the nation at a time never most appropriate as now.
Oh Wait, what even is my business saying all these if not for the sake that i also talk about British football. After all does any one speak English in the indomitable lions as a mother tongue, or does any one know the exact date of Cameroon's presidential "corruption" or did you say Election,so that we can all vote to perpetrate the problem.
Thank you all even if i am not talking football but politics. But i do not see the difference in Cameroon.
