Did anyone or the police for example see SEF bit his wife for example? No. Did anyone see SEF for xample fist fighting his colleagues players in the locker room? or fight in a night club? see him drunk to death irresponsibly on the street, or run some pedestrian with his car and fails to stop and choose to run away from the scene of the accident for example? No. Those are concretes example which would require SEF to come before his people and his fans to address his side of the story. Not for slanderous writings and moreover coming from an individual who is not even an authority to write about people like journalist should do.
You see Ice. The above are situation for which SEF can intervene personally. Not on rumors from non authorized people. By doing that he his enhancing their 15 minute of fame.
