Burnley fly in Olembe for talks over Turf Moor move
Burnley boss Brian Laws is trying to fly in Cameroon World Cup midfielder Salomon Olembe today – in a bid to bring him into his survival-fighting squad.
Olembe, 29, is a free agent after leaving Turkish side Kayserispor – and he hopes to arrive in time to play on trial for the Clarets reserves tonight.
The speedy wide man was previously with Leeds United and Wigan in a wandering career that saw him once move for £8 million to French giants Marseille.
Laws is looking for new blood as he tries to stop his side slip out of the Premier League at the first time of asking.
