I'm not here trying to stand up for Eto'o! It's already too late at night for a lot of us, but I just want to express a certain point of view that I have!
First at all, I think a lot of cameroonians have set up Eto'o as their personal football fantasy! Meaning that those people want Eto'o to do whatever fantastic move they can imagine! If it was so easy to do so, why would they need Eto'o?! Why aren't themselves football players?!!
I like to remind to all those people that Eto'o not only is a human being, not superman, but doesn't belong to their imagination, or even their PSP! In this way, we should admit that soccer is just a game, but a real game(played by humans OK?!). Therefore, one has to loose once in a while, or even most of the time!!
Secondly, I think it's wiser to wait for the last games of that Champions League's group, before making a real observation!
To finish, if you are expecting great things from Eto'o, you should just grin and bear it! And as someone has just said, think about other players from Cameroon that deserve as much attention: Alex Song, Makoun, or even Ngog!
