MILAN - After his morning's work at the Saras offices in Milan's city centre, president Massimo Moratti gave a brief interview to journalists, replying to questions about the possible transfer market deal involving strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Samuel Eto'o.

President Moratti, at what point are negotiations with Barcelona for a potential swap deal involving Ibrahimovic and Eto'o?
"We are negotiating. We think it's an interesting operation."

What are the terms of this deal?
"The terms are those of an important economic offer. There's still something to be understood and it has to be done intelligently, because there are also the players in the middle. So it's something we are evaluating and we think it's something that can be discussed."

But do you like Eto'o?
"Of course..."

Is Eto'o really worth as much as Ibrahimovic?
"I don't think so. I don't think this is a suitable question. It has nothing to do with today. Why are you asking me this question?"

Because yesterday you said that Ibrahimovic could easily be replaced with Eto'o.
"No. It's another thing. The transfer market evaluation is one thing and the capabilities and technique of a player are another. He's a different player. He has a different way of playing and as such he has to be inserted. And we know that he's the top scorer or in any case the player who has scored most in Spain. He's a player we have always admired."

What relationship is there between the desires of Mourinho for the team and the negotiations for Ibrahimovic?
"Mourinho is constantly informed."
Merci de patienter...
