Cameroon swept to the final of the 16th edition AYC this evening in Kigali, Rwanda and promised to teach Ghana a soccer lesson they will never forget.
Cameron coach Alain Wabo breathing fire after beating Nigeria 2-0 in the semi final vowed:†People should go and tell Ghana that they will have a very rough evening on Sunday. They have nowhere to escape to. They will have a bad outing that they will never forget,â€
Wabo whose side survived a penalty and had to thank the woodwork against Nigeria, have vowed to win the crown, but “after teaching Ghana some lessons, because I know how they play and I have studied all their video tapes,†he said.
‘’The play like Nigeria and we know how deal with those tactics,†Wabo told the press after their match against Nigeria.
Nigerian coach Ladan Bosso congratulated Cameroon for reaching the final and admitted “we lost to a good side who took their chances well to score. We had equal opportunities, but we could not deliver.â€
Bosso said the Nigerian side was good, but for the team to play in the World cup qualifiers, there will be need for some reinforcement. He dismissed suggestions that he had fielded unfit players. He responded: “any player selected for this competition is fit and can be utilized at any position.â€
The Cameroonian coach said Nigeria had good skilful players, but they lack team work. “I had studied their games well and knew how to deal with them. And we did it. Ghana will be in bigger problems that Nigeria,†Wabo threatend.
