Eto has no control over anything in Cameroon. The Government calls on Eto to lend his expertise on soccer matters in Cameroon. The selection of Cameroonians to take part in a world cup tournament has to be open to all Cameroonians not just those who are back home. The singular criteria for selection should be based on talents and who is the best and nothing else. The Cameroonians playing abroad did not elect to be there. They were born in those countries. It a senseless statement to based the selection of players to the lions on whether or not they live in Cameroon.
Cameroon should benefit from Eto's expertise and there is a reason why he is the most successful player from Cameroon ever. He should be able to translate that experience to the national team. Why fight him or is it a Blackman's disease that we must fight each other all the time.
