Dave Jones has opted to be patient in his search for a new keeper – and see what happens with Cameroon international Carlos Kameni. Kameni linked up with Wolves at the start of the season but had to return to France because of work permit problems.
He will have the necessary number of games he needs under his belt when the transfer window reopens in January and that is when Jones is hoping to pounce for a second time.
But the Wolves boss has already been warned a number of other Premiership clubs have expressed an interest in Kameni – and he could lose out.
In the meantime, Jones will rely on in-form Michael Oakes and fit-again Matt Murray to fight for the number one jersey at Molineux.
