Something weird is going on in Cameroon FA. The 4th vice-president of FECAFOOT, Njalla Quan Jr, who’ve been voted in as part as Samuel Eto’o razzia over the football association has lit a light on several malpractices and corruption that are taking place within this body. As death treats mounted toward him after he sent a confidential letter to Samuel Eto’o Fils, his club has being targeted as part as blackmail process so often used by Samuel Eto’o’s supporters and staff. Njalla Quan FC has suffered a corrupt refereing staff in their encounter against Kumba City FC last wednesday. The game amounts for the first leg of the semi-final of the regional playoff.
This brought Njalla Quan Junior to decide to go public with the confidential letter he did sent to his FA Président. The 19th page document elaborates how mismanaged and blatantly corrupt Cameroun FA has become under the watch of Samuel Eto’o. A well written paper that has to be read to understand the evil path where Cameroon football is heading to.

In example, there are serious issues regarding the budget, and the financial situation of the FA. No member of the executive committee is aware of how the budget was mounted. The budget was brought to the attention of the Executive Commitee in May, while its implementation starts five months before. There has not been any formal discussion on it, nor the members did see a copy of it.
This is what Njalla Quan said on this matter.
Financial and administrative lapses

Mr President, this is a very sensitive yet important point. I will be doing no justice to you or myself if I fail to mention this particular aspect. Mr President, as Vice President of FECAFOOT and member of the executive committee, I am in the dark concerning our financial position. I am sure this is shared by many other members of the executive committee. There seems to be no transparency in the circulation of information relating to financial and administrative operations.
During the last executive committee seating, a budget of 12 Billion francs CFA balanced between expenditures and revenue was presented to us for adoption for the 2023 year. With my little experience in the professional world, I raised some few observations.
First of all, the executive committee and general assembly meetings which were supposed to adopt this budget was held in May, five months after the supposed budget came into effect. This meant that this budget was presented to the executive committee and general assembly simply as a formality with no possibility of debating or amending.
Secondly, there was no clear explanation on how we suddenly jumped from a budget of under 3 billion under our predecessors to a budget of 12 billion. I understand there is a massive fallout of at least 4.5 billion FCFA as a result of our price money following our participation at the FIFA world cup Qatar 2022, but the other major sources of revenue were not highlighted (unless I missed out).
Finally, physical copies of these budgets were not presented to us for further study and proposals. I raised this point during the meeting but it was met with a suspicious look coupled with a lukewarm acceptance from those who did the presentation.
Till date, as vice President of FECAFOOT, I do not have a copy of our approved budget for 2023. I am also unaware of the major sources of income and expenditure for the federation.
