Mais David Lopez et Inaki Munoz ont permis à Osasuna de poursuivre son sans-faute à domicile, aidés en cela par Carlos Kameni, le gardien de but de l'Espanyol auteur d'une piètre performance.
Au classement, Osasuna compte désormais 21 points et reprend trois longueurs sur le Real.

Namibia, Nigeria and Mozambique have formally presented their bids to host the 2010 African Cup of Nations to the Confederation of African Football, (Caf) in Cairo.
The deadline for the submission of bids expires on Monday 31 October.
The three countries are the first to formally present their bid documents to the continent's football governing body.
Caf spokesman Suleiman Habuba told BBC Sport that they are expecting a delegation from Gabon and Equitorial Guinea, who will be presenting a joint bid, as well as a delegation from Senegal on Monday.
Along with Zimbabwe, Senegal sent letters signifying their intent to bid for the tournament two weeks ago.
In all, nine countries have stated their interest in hosting the continental football extravaganza in 2010, the year the World Cup will be hosted on African soil for the first time in the competition's history.
The secretary general of the Namibia Football Association Alpheus Gawased told BBC Sport that hosting the 2010 Nations Cup will give them a chance to rebuild football in the country.
"After qualifying for Burkina Faso in 1998, our football has been dropping in terms of quality so we want to change that situation," he said.
"We have the infrastructure, the support of the government and the business community."
Gawased was also confident that Namibia would be able to match bids presented by countries like Nigeria and Senegal, who have both had the experience of previously hosting the tournament.
"Bidding is all about how you prepare yourself and how you present your case," he told BBC Sport.
"In the past we were saying that the World Cup was only played in European countries but now it's coming to South Africa for the first time so why can't Namibia host the African Cup of Nations?"
The final decision of who hosts the 2010 African Cup of Nations will be made by Caf next year.
