For Iya, he is actually the best Fecafoot administrator we has had for quite some time. He made major mistakes and clinged too long to his seat, what ultimately brought him down.

Oh believe me, I have castigated Eto'o and continue to castigate him for just about everything you mentioned. What I can't stand is people creating stories to make him bad.. I mean he has already messed up as is! Its similar with Iya (I know not the same issue), but as much as I disliked Iya's stubborn ways, I am one of those who still thinks the charges that landed him in jail need to be justified. Same with Eto'o, I'd punch him & Song if I ever run into them, but I wont cheer on if someone fabricates an accusation to get rid of them.. You're right about the fact that we should not turn criticism toward Eto'o to hate. However, as the team captain with the worst record in the history of our national team, he should be held accountable.
A player who resides in a luxury hotel suit while his teammates are sharing two-beds rooms, a player who publishes update on his injuries on social medial without prior knowledge of the training and administrative staff, a player who brings such a high level of controversy and distraction to the team (Nathalie Nkoah, paying the bond for a repeated offender during the world cup), a player who refuses to take the flag of our country and disrespect our national institutions, a player who encourages his teammates to rebel in a manner detrimental to the team's performances... Such player deserves harsh words. And perhaps more. Especially when he refuses to take personal responsibility for his part.
No one said Eto'o is the sole source of all our struggles, but one must acknowledge that there is no possible betterment for our national team with SEF, Song Rigo, Song Alex, Makoun, and Webo in that squad.

Il est clair que cette Selecao n'avait pas les armes pour tenir tete a une National Mannschaft qui a attaint l'age de la maturite. Neamoins, dans quatre voire huit ans avec trois ou quatre talents comme le pays de Pele sait en produire, ils pourront non seulement rivaliser, mais viser le titre.
